Just back from Bansko

Arrived at Bristol this morning after a great time in Bansko, OK so the snow is not fantastic but we managed to ski from 10 in the morning till 4 every afternoon. Our Instructor says that they are expecting snow around the 22nd (fingers crossed). If anyone has any questions I will try to answer them. Cheers

Is the black run (Tomba) open and any reds?

The black is open but quite icy in places, Red 6,7&8 are also open, but best in the morning.

i went to bansko the season before the gondola was build and i would hardly call any of the runs begginer runsRazz they r alot harder than those at pamporovo in my view...not done the ski road yet though as that was the way we used to get up to the resort

re: Just back from Bansko

Ski road is not way you used to get up to the slopes as that road is still open for traffic - taxis etc. The ski road down to Bansko runs from top gondola station down to Grand Kempinski . Graded a green run but quite hairy in places for beginners, especially at the end of the day when it's busy.
