Hi, just got back from Bansko yesterday. Had a great week as it was not busy. Stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bathroom newish, stylish appartment for £200. Only grumble was that is was in the middle of a building site and some money went missing from the appartment.
It was our first time skiing and the only regret we have is that we choose Method Ski school. I read a lot of negative points regarding ULEN and so although Method was a lot more expensive we decided to go with them.

It was our first time skiing and the only regret we have is that we choose Method Ski school. I read a lot of negative points regarding ULEN and so although Method was a lot more expensive we decided to go with them.
There were 5 adults in our group and we all felt we had very poor tuition. The second day was a total waste of time as the instructor just stayed in one spot and told us to practice and gain confidence for 3 hours! After watching ULEN, they were better organised and the lessons were much better structured than ours. The average group size was 12.
We met an english guy called Gary who took us to Razlog where we got a 45 min massage for 25levs, he also took us to the airport, you can contact him razlogoo@yahoo.com.

go with balkan holidays they use boro sports ski school they are very good got back from borovets on sat no probs at all this was our 7 visit with them

Hi we also went with balkan to borovets - i didnt book a ski school but had 1-1 with a local instructor called Jordan. Had 4 hours over 3 days at 45 levs per hour then was able to ski down a green piste no probs. Have never skiied before and am not sporty so it was worth every lev cos I am so proud of myself for having the guts to do this. I now have some street cred with my teenage kids at last. Cant wait for next year - hot holidays are a thing of the past for us now.
