Just back from Bansko

I've just come back from a weeks skiing in Bansko. Conditions were fantastic and really enjoyed it, people flying out are going to be really lucky!

One tip, if you are taking sterling to change into Levs when you arrive, just make sure your notes have no writing or tears on it as the banks won't accept it.

We're off to Bansko on 11th Feb really looking forward to it. From what I've read it sounds brilliant. Did you get chance to look in any ski shops over there. My son had bag nicked in France last year, lost goggles, glasses etc. wondered if Oakley or good designer wear is cheaper to buy when we're out there? Thanks

There are p[lenty of shops in Bansko selling good designer ski wear at low prices. Someone in my group liked the look of Phenix jackets at half their UK retail price!

Ski boots are also very cheap

Carrie, hmm, snowpark!?! I didn't notice any particular area called a snow park, sorry

The pistes were excellent, the snow superb and so much better than last year in Pamps!

Snow park is a place for snowboard extrim, half pipe and etc. Did you notice it?

Just take clean sterling notes, they do also accept Euros of course but why waste money by changing from sterling to Euros to Levs?
