Just back from Bansko

Amazing conditions on the slopes, just about perfect. Very cold on Tues/Wed (-25C) with snow but sunshine Thurs/Fri.

Never had to queue for the gondola but there was at least an hour queue for Ski/Boot fitting on the first day so get there early !

Oh and based on an average of 4/5 pints before dinner and a bottle of wine with a 3 course meal in the evening my total outlay (spending money) for the week was £160

Sounds fab Bonzo - 5 weeks wait for me - unlikely lucky Val above......hope the snow lasts - Val - don't wear it all out - save me some

According to my ski instructor, the compacted snow on the piste is about 1.5 m deep. It'll be there for a while yet !

Check the historical conditions, snow base gets deeper until the nearly the end of March.

going on 18 feb to bansko staying in hotel perun. Anybody been.Met that jonbonce in pamps last yearwhat a big head all he does is talk about ski ing and buying property in bulgaria i think he s been to bansko but i don t want to ask him
