Got back from Bansko yesterday, and im soooooooooo depressed now, wanna go back! We had such an awesome time, dont believe ANYTHING bad you read about bansko/bulgaria! Bansko is a GREAT place, loved every minute of it. To be honest, we were a little aprehensive before we went as we had read a few bad reports, but if you're going to Bulgaria for the first time and feel a little nervous, then DONT be!! Our hotel was amazing (The Lion), everything was brand spanking new and our bedroom was ...
Got back from Bansko yesterday, and im soooooooooo depressed now, wanna go back! We had such an awesome time, dont believe ANYTHING bad you read about bansko/bulgaria! Bansko is a GREAT place, loved every minute of it. To be honest, we were a little aprehensive before we went as we had read a few bad reports, but if you're going to Bulgaria for the first time and feel a little nervous, then DONT be!! Our hotel was amazing (The Lion), everything was brand spanking new and our bedroom was HUGE! It was very clean, very warm, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The skiing was brilliant, no snow all week, but that didnt make a difference. Bright blue sunshine and we even managed to come back with a tan
Our skiing has improved sooooooooo much too!!
The food was excellent (well thats in the restaurants anyway!) The food in the hotel was edible and filled a hole, but its worth eating out as its so cheap!! For example a three course meal for two people cost us about 30 lev, unbelievable!!!!!! The wine and beer are great too!
So all in all an AMAZING holiday had!!! Would definately go back and we are gonna tell everyone how great Bulgaria is

Well not as such! In the bar at the hotel the tv is usually on a music channel, and a bulgarian folk band/singers played a few times in the eve, but apart from that not alot in terms of entertainment. You dont need to stay in the hotel though as there are so many great restaurants to explore!!! And plenty of places to drink cheap beer/wineAlso you're reps will probably organise trips out/entertainment on most evenings? But they will tell you all about those when you arrive!
