Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Flew back last nite from a week in borovets, snow conditions were bad. on the left hand side of the mountain only the lower nursery slopes open with 2 small drags(in front of rila and ice angels). up on gondlar, the conditions were better, but not much open( u cannot ski down from the top to bottom on piste!) when i went up on friday, the conditions were not good, the snow is showing al the rocks now and roots, the bottom of my snowboard looks like someones taken an angle grinder to it!
I loved the resort, but would not go back untill i knew there was garenteed snow!
p.s. the band in mamaciats every nite are totally brilliant! go watch them if your going out there! and also the guy that plays guitar and sings in frankos!
