Can I just say what a fantastic place to ski. Lessons great, instructor Mitko was fantastic. Kids loved it. Stayed at the Zodiac and although a little out of the resort the transport was great. We will however stay at the Rila next year.
Can I thank the boarder who stopped and helped me unwrap myself from a tree on Friday 9th Feb (other skiers just skied past). Whoever you are THANK YOU.
One last note - book your activities with your instructor it really is alot cheaper and try them ...

hi, just booked up for 10 march never been but heard such good reviews. just wondering how much it is to eat out, drink etc. isit best to get our snowboarding stuff here or is it cheaper there. thank you if you do take the time to reply.re: Just back from Borovets
Its as cheap as chips to eat and drink in borovets and the selection is fantastic. Try the black cat and black tiger, quality of food great. Drink in any bar, atmosphere fantastic anywhere.Buy in Borovets, although didnt snowboard I know the price of skiboots where around £40, jackets £30 etc. The selection is vast so dont worry about not finding what you are looking for.

I agree with Claireski !We just got back from a week in the Zodiac, it was ok, but if there was no differeince in price, it would be better to be closer to the slopes.
We only paid £ 160 for a week 1/2 board so can't really complain
Can't wait to go back soon

great report still excellent food and nightlife we got back today stayed in samokov for the third year, good hotel and very centrel for gondola and top barsre: Just back from Borovets
Off to Boro on 17th March. never been on a skiing hol before. Staying near the Rila. Been having lessons at Sheffield Ski village. can just about manage the snow plough without falling over but still feel out of control. Looking forward to having a go on snow. Me and my cousin will also be in borovets 11 - 18 march.20 - 21 yr olds stayin at flora hotel.
