Just back from Pamp

Hi all, just got back from Pamporovo and thought id let you know about snow conditions and stuff.
It was my first boarding holiday so dont have anything to compare it to, but ive got to say i was impressed.
Snow conditions the first few days were good, weather sunny, then the cold snap came, temperatures down to -26 reported one night, bloody cold but the fresh powder made for good boarding.

Hi all, just got back from Pamporovo and thought id let you know about snow conditions and stuff.

Snow conditions the first few days were good, weather sunny, then the cold snap came, temperatures down to -26 reported one night, bloody cold but the fresh powder made for good boarding.
The runs, started to cut up a little in places towards tursday and friday, exposing stones and dirt. The Shezanka 5 run ice up a lot towards the bottom causing a few sore back sides!
The green run, really crowded up with ski schools causing a few accidents, the slope just isnt wide enough in places for amateurs and literally tens of groups learning to ski, unfortunately, there is only a single green run on the mountain.
Other than that, bars quite busy, crowd great, weather warming up, and snow overall good.
Anyone heading out will have a great time.
ENJOY!

re: Just back from Pamp

Taxis are no longer that cheap Paul. from resort centre to Malina depot will cost you 12 lev if you ask how much before hand otherwise it is 15 lev. I am a private hire driver here and this price equates to what I would charge for that distance here. Neutral

Better than the USA.

$15 for a trip that was no more than 1/4 mile and took about a minute Mad
