Just back from 2 weeks in Pamps and I have to say that in the 15 years I have been going it is one of the best trips I have ever had !

Got some observations if you are interested to read them….


The snow was fantastic and for the first time the crews that look after the slopes seem to be making a real effort to prepare them at night for the following day.

The new runs are excellent and the new 3k red is great !! Really makes those thighs burn.

The food on the mountain is definitely improving and Bohemi is still the best beside the tourist slope.

The resort was quiet but usually is at this time of the year and the fog didn’t help the guys who had to be coached from Greece.

On the downside

The taxi drivers are getting out of control with there pricing. It doesn’t matter were you want to go its 20lv. A lot of people were getting very angry about the increases which can make the taxis more expensive than home. I have been going to pamps for years and it kills me these guys are taking advantage and putting people off going. I know a few people who were staying at apartments on the slopes will not be back as it was expensive travelling up and down to the resort at night.

I usually stay at the Zora hotel but we opted for the Shezhanka as my friends had kids with them this year.

The hotel is getting big since the last time I stayed in it. I couldn’t believe how small the rooms were though. I had a few things stolen from the room which has never happened to me before in BG.

But nevermind I had a fantastic time the snow and the criac was great and that’s all that matters, Anyone going in the next few weeks should have a ball
