Hi all, back from Pamps last night (after a 7 hour delay due to a broken airplane!)
Nursery slopes are quite icy although no where near as icy as the green run (the only run officially open)... we were so excited when it snowed on Friday night but on Sat when we were expecting a nice go at the green run all the lifts got closed due to high winds so the only place to ski was the bottom nursery slope... not fun.

Hi all, back from Pamps last night (after a 7 hour delay due to a broken airplane!)
Nursery slopes are quite icy although no where near as icy as the green run (the only run officially open)... we were so excited when it snowed on Friday night but on Sat when we were expecting a nice go at the green run all the lifts got closed due to high winds so the only place to ski was the bottom nursery slope... not fun.
The tuition is top notch and our instructor kept saying that the snow was bad but if we could ski in these conditions we'd have no problem when skiing in decent snow.
Would i go back?? yes... but i would not book so far in advance next time... last minute deals are probably the best way to know if there is snow... if not then no money lost.
we had fun but lots of experienced skiiers were quite bored after a few days as the slopes got icier. I feel for those there this week but the upside is that the beginners will still learn to ski.
Hopefully it will snow more for those going next week and later in the year.
Temp when we left our hotel yesterday was 9 degrees C (11.30am Bulgarian time)
Blagodaria (thank you) for taking the time to read this... hope it doesn't disappoint too many people
