Hi all.

Got back to Blighty yesterday so a quick update.

Snow.

Most of the runs were open and in good condition but getting as bit Icy in places. However both blacks and the red from the learner green slope left to the 3 man chair were closed. Bit more snow and a good piste bashing and they should be ok. It was snowing as I left Friday so if that continues should be spot on.

Did notice that snow making machines were on most of the time and most of the piste prep was done at night, good improvement from last year.

Can't quite get my head around the one man chair from Malina though, running at times but wouldn't let me on it. Most of the time not running but lads in the hut doing nowt... sort it out lads

Prices.

Pretty much same as last year in most of the restaurants I looked at, therefore not as good value as what they should be. White Dog and Rossignol bucking this trend with good value food and drink, the White Dog seeming to be the cheapest in resort and Petar runs a tight ship, good atmosphere and quite a few in.

Pamporovo Town.

To be honest only went in a couple of times as I tend to spend most of the time on the slopes or at Forest Nook village. Very empty until Thursday and then packed as its BG school hols. Most bars open but noted that shops and some bars in the Perelik was closed.

Shopping.

Volleyed Alsaka and their mad prices into touch and went to Billa supermarket in Smolyan. Everything you could need in there.

It was good to meet Powder Seeking Phil and Claire and had a couple of runs on the mountain with them. Also great to meet up with Helen and Moey; cracking company and right awld crack. Also pleasure to meet Lee and Dynamite Dave (Moeys mates) top lads.

Managed to meet Do It Man and Arron, good to meet you chaps albeit fleetingly. Hopefully we can have a few kegs in the not too distant.
