Just back from Pamps

Just an update for all you worried travellers.....
Not snowed all last week, temperatures varying, cold at night and first thing on the lifts but warming up and we had sunshine all week.
Runs- green run best i've seen it for years, blue and red run to clearing where Bodhemi bar is got good coverage, only icy in a few spots which are easily avoided, yes theres a few stones on red but nothing to worry about, 1 run to stokite open, again only last steep area icy and red 5(mambo to us) open. ...

Red run to top of Wall and The Wall open and good. Both blacks were shut, not sure why as there was plenty of coverage, hence people still skiing down, red from botton of nursery slope at top of mountain closed and blue button and Smolyan runs closed.

We took 2 families with kids aged 12 who both went 2yrs ago for first time and all skied all runs open apart from The Wall so conditions speak for themselves. For me I think more runs could have been open if the manpower had been put in, as I've been many a year with less snow and more runs open, but the runs that were open had snow blowers going throughout the day.

Theres still plenty of food/drink deals to be had, if you go to Bohemi Bar which we have always done, make sure you get the Red menu and not the Blue one, difference in prices can be huge, example a bottle of so called champers 10 lev on red and 18 lev on red, same for all drinks and meals.
Had some great bottles of wine in Snezanka at teatime only 12 lev, Sports bar in Perelik 3.5 lev for large beer and shot. Daks bar the busiest all week, great atmosphere!

A great time had by all, only spoiled at start by 6 hr flight delay and then 1hr transfer delay, due to faulty coach.

Great Post Joanne and the Truth!

I can back it up as we have been here for three days so far and boarded all day everyday. The slopes that are open as above are OK and will keep anyone busy through the day -

It Gets a bit soft in the afternoons but piste mangement is working hard to keep things going!

It is what you make of it and we are having a great time!!!
