Hello all.
Just got back from Pamps at 1.30am and we had a great time!
Sorry to read your sad story below MDF. We too stayed at Hotel Pamporovo and wish we woke up there again today to have breakfast in front of us when we woke up. There's no food in the fridge here.The plane over was delayed by 4hrs, didn't matter, just got into the holiday spirit at Gatwick. Missed out on Pete's free drink as we got in at 4.30am and never met him. Sorry Pete.

Got to our room and it was huge. Biggest room we've ever stayed in. Nice bed, couch, tv, enough room to swing ten cats. Room A58 if anyone wants to request it. Took other people's advice from this website and ate out at 'The White House' (not Horse) very nice, and also at at 'Barbeque', try the lamb it's awesome.
Hotel food was edible, better than I make myself every morning at home and more to choose from.
On the mountain, we kept going back to the restaurant at the top of the baby slope. See Steven if you want to get looked after. He even kept telling his Bulgarian friends to move away from the fire so we could sit there to get warm after a few hours boarding. And also kept the complimentary brandy's and warm red wines flowing. Very hospitable. Their 'Kavarma' is a must try. Mousaka's not bad either.
Snow was average. We hit a few rocks, got bruised but had a good time anyway. Made the most of it and made a few jumps and a course through the trees and went up and down until we were ready for a cappuccino back at the restaurant.
Anjie our snowbord instructor was great. By the third day all the irish alcoholics in out group didn't turn up and we had personal lessons. The party at the nightclub at Hotel Prespa was awesome and the snow coming down when we left made Pamps even more beautiful. We wish we were back there and would like to go back some other time.
If you do intend to go to Pamporovo, read the previous posts on this website and you will get a good feel for the place and know what to expect before you arrive. This place is not England, it's Bulgaria, enjoy!
