Just got back from borovets!!!

Had the best time ever!! 14 of us went on 27/12 and stayed at Chalet Rachel - which is a relatively new chalet which we booked through this site. The chalet was excellent - I'd definitely stay there again.

Had the best time ever!! 14 of us went on 27/12 and stayed at Chalet Rachel - which is a relatively new chalet which we booked through this site. The chalet was excellent - I'd definitely stay there again.
The snow was great - have skied a number of times before and there was plenty of snow all week - some of the runs had some stones on them but in general everything was good for skiing on. We had ski school through this site - which was organised very well. The instructors were brilliant (Christo and Pavel) and they made the week really fun.
It was a busy week for the lifts but I think that this will be reduced next week because Bulgarian holidays finish.
The nightlife was brilliant - we had a number of 4am's - and still managed to get up for ski school!! Beer and spirit and mixer prices range from 2 to 3 levs but everywhere has 2 for 1's at some point or another so you end up paying around 50p a drink!! We managed to only spend around £150 and that included eating out every night and day and getting very pissed at night!! Great food at Mamacita's, White Magic, and the Chinese near the Happy Duck.
In all, a brilliant holiday - am very jealous of everyone going out there in the next few weeks!!

Glad to hear you had a great time.I think your friends stayed in our chalet next door to Chalet Rachel? We've not been since it's been finished - was everything OK? Any comments?? We're due to go out on 24th Jan to appy the finishing touches, so any advice would be welcome.

Flight from Mcr was £240, but friends from london paid £180 for theirs from Heathrow. Chalet worked out at £85 per head, and transfers £12 each return. Then we paid for our ski packs which were £99 for everything. Worked out around £200 cheaper than brochure prices!!!!!
