re: Just in case you were thinking of buying your lift pass in Bulgaria
bugger
oh well, have to try my sources in Boro on Sunday. Seems a weird set-up - how come we can get it at a discount through the holiday companies? Normally they take their cut. V confused, seems the opposite of last season
re: Just in case you were thinking of buying your lift pass in Bulgaria
Because tour companies buy in bulk and can negotiate a lower price, therefore the saving is passed on to their customers. They do not sell seperately as that would mean they would not have sufficent for their customers who were booking the full packages.

pat q - certainly not the opposite to last season the lift passes have always been cheaper to purchase before going and it is the only thing the ski instructors can wangle for you Sorry to be the bringer of bad tidings.

OR you can try and get back in touch with your tour operator... I'm sure they'll be more than happy to take an advance booking if they still have the mechanism to do so because as you say - they'll take their cut!
