Just arrived back from a week in Pamps. Myself, Husband and 2 kids 9,8 all beginners. We did ski every day but conditions are not great and are deteriorating all the time. Green runs very icy at times and I did not enjoy skiing on them at all. Kids and hubby coped better with the ice and skied them several times. Husband also skied a red run as he is not a complete beginner but you have to watch out for stones and ice on the way down! Nursery slopes very busy due to lack of runs being open. ...

Stayed at Hotel Bor. Very poor and dated accomodation but staff friendly and helpful and food excellent. This was a 3* so we were not expecting great things anyway but it was slightly too far out of the centre for my liking and if I go back I would stay closer in. Approx 10 minute walk to catch the bus in the mornings.
All of our group struggled with our ski instructor as he spoke hardly any english and just couldn't understand us. The children were grouped in with us making 18 in total which I thought was too many. Next time I would book 1-1 tuition for a few hours.
We had a great holiday and would definately go back. It definately needs more snow though. Staff are doing all they can to move snow to cover the icy patches but they were quite a few broken bones and head injuries. Both of my kids wore helmets and this is essential whilst conditions remain as they are.
I did however get quite a nice sun tan on my face!! Sun was out all day and at times quite hot...
Made some great friends and can't wait until next year.
