Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Hi, just returned from a fab family hol in Boro. Excellent conditions for the first four days with plenty of powder/fresh snow. Last 2 days sunshine with very warm conditions, +12 recorded at the Rila, although sun was directly on the hotel. Runs became in parts very icy the last 2 days, definintely need some more fresh snow. Children can attend ski school (Bororets) from 5 although most tour operators state 7 or 8. We had no problem swopping our 7 yr old from Kindergarden to ski school, but had to pay for lift pass/boots skis in the resort. Major problem was the queues for boots on the first day, didn't get into group and off until 11.50 (was half term though!). Any questions, pls ask. Regards. Yvette
