Kempinski Room Differences?

Hi guys,

Looking to book at the Grand Arena Kempinski Hotel in Bansko...just wondering if anyone has any experience with the different rooms available?

I was looking to upgrade the standard room to the Executive room as it is our 1st Anniverary so looking to surprise my wife. Has anyone stayed in these rooms before?

Have stayed in the their standard room and it was honestly more than comfortable and spacious. I can only imagine that the executive rooms will be palacial.

Standard rooms are pretty exceptional to be honest. Don't want to spoil her now.

I think the rooms were another £120 or so for the week. I read in somewhere that you get free snacks, drinks and other bits between 12:00 - 18:00 which I thought would be handy to keep us going till evening meal.

Maybe Matt is right...I don't want to spoil her too much

I've stayed in many hotels, but the Kempinski has to be one of the best. The rooms are huge (as is the bathroom) and so luxurious. Personally, I would save my money and treat yourself to something else!

You'll probably get the same room with the added treats - but given the cost of these things (even in the Kempinski bar) you'd have to go some to get through 120 quid's worth in a week

Cheers guys...it has been about 2 years since been to Bansko so guessing things are still pretty reasonable then to buy?

Last year saw something of a jump in prices and with the pound taking a hammering things will be up to 50% more expensive for you than when you were last there. Inflation has been running at +10% for the last 18 months as well remember.
