What can I say I had a great time last week (5/2/05 - 12/2/05)
Beautiful blue skies and sunshine all week.
Unfortunately no new snow whilst I was there but snow conditions were great if not a little icy on the last day - especially red and black run number 5.

Beautiful blue skies and sunshine all week.
Unfortunately no new snow whilst I was there but snow conditions were great if not a little icy on the last day - especially red and black run number 5.
I stayed at the Perelik Hotel and thought it was fab. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Breakfast and the evening meal was ok (not a la carte cuisine). The lounge bar does great cakes and BJ's was excellent - with a pint of beer costing about a quid and a cocktail about £2.50.
Perelik is a great place to stay as you always get a seat on the buses. Felt sorry for the suckers at Mugavets and Pamporovo who often just saw the bus go straight pass or when they could get on the bus were often left crammed standing in the aisles.
Hire skis and boots at ski depot 2 - surprisingly organised - although did not have a choice of the size of skis I wanted.
My ski instructor was Angel (same as Dickie's). Enjoyed the chicken run (Dickie was king jumper) and spent much of the week going through the forest rather than doing the ski runs.
My ski group ages ranged from 6 and a half (little Brad) to 72 (Mikey C) whom all looked like they were having a great time.
Watched the ski instructors show - which was very cold and decided to hop to the pub and watch it from there - much better idea.
Went bum boarding - I was totally crap but had a good time.
Also went skiddooing which was great if not very cold at 6.15 at night.
Followed the bar crawl on Monday - felt absolutely s**t on Tuesday.
