I have just read a comment about the ski school not accepting a chid because they didn't look like a 7 year old which is the minimum age. My 8 year old looks more like 6 but has skiied for the last to years and is booked into the ski school. Am I going to have problems?
we had a three year old in our class can be down to the instructor. speak to your rep before hand she should have your booking details with childs age on if you have a problem get them involved
I went a couple of years ago with my daughter who had just turned 7. The ski school were happy to let her ski with us on the first day, to see how she'd get on. As it happened (as with most kids) she was a natural and I was sent to kindergarten.
Hi, depends on Tour Company. Last year went with Thomsons with our 8 and 7 yr olds. Could book the 8 yr old into ski school here in the UK, but couldn't for the 7yr old. (It was something to do with insurance!), although the Ski School accepts children in their classes, ideally from age 6! Hope this helps. Yvette
When my youngest was only 6 he was booked into the Samokov school (Boro), and they had no problems. he had skied for a couple of years however and was evidently better than most of the older first timers.
Might have some impact on their or your insurance though, check it out!
