Have got english sterling....some euro's and 40 northern irish pounds....anyone know if you can exchange the irish pounds in borovets for levs or should i do it here....

No - Irish pound are a problem to change in Bulgaria so best to change them before you leave.Never take sterling that is torn or written on as they will not accept them either.
It is not true that you can change any currency in Bulgaian resorts - ask any Scottish people who have attempted to exchange Scottish notes.

Sorry, Pete's WrongIrish sterling is good to change at Supermarket next to White heart. My friend had no problems.

I am not wrong - as I did not say you couldn't - I said it is a problem which it is.Some may - but in general you WILL find it a problem changing Irish pounds in the resorts.
