Try the Bulgarian beers Astika, Zagorka and Kamenitsa which are much cheaper than imported beer. I couldnt say if their any good i prefer the Rakia Very Happy

MOst of the bulargian beeer is damn good, could drink loads of it without suffering a hangover! its around 5%

A warming Mastica at 49% and 1 lev a shot is a good chaser. Dont buy the local stuff as we were told it is brewed in bath tubs. Tastes a bit like Ouzo
