Well things are getting pretty grim. looks like playing ten pin bowling qquite a lot. lol
and drinking
and drinking
and swimming
and more bowls
and more drinking
lol
can only keep fingers and toes crossed now and lets hope the forecasts have got it wrong.Going on the 27th jan, staying in the samokov. on a brighter note hubby has just said if there is no skiing we can book again and go once again in feb hopefully the end of feb

sounds like the lanes might be quite busy now

do u know if u have to book lanes or just turn up?

must be so cheap there that peoplecud hog it all night if they wanted to

yes you do have to book you lanes. just a little tip . the lanes are not straight lol and quite bumpy. its quite funny , not like playing bowls here at home. hope you get that much needed snow
if not you will enjoy yourselvers anyway, its cheap and cheerfull and the people are very friendly, we love it been the last 6 years, wouldnot miss my yearly trip to borovets, and on a brighter note maybe going twice

Hi all,
I stayed at the Samakov last year,i thought it was a really good hotel with lots to do,the food was supprisingly good [especially if you like cream cake deserts]...the staff could lighten up a bit though.If theres no snow this year and your going to Borovets, the night life is great fun[dancin girlies] ,and as theres no snow ,no need to get up too early...ahhh did i mention the dancin girlies..
