Andie

nice to know you will have a roof over your head before the snow starts to settle.

Hi Sam, if they don't get a move on it could be just the garage roof over my head Very Happy Oh well, it will be cosy and easy to heat if its only one floor but a bit cramped lol.

re: Large G & T.

Sounds like the traditional Bulgarian village style for the winter Andie Very Happy Hope they get it finished for you though. Nothing like looking out of your cosy bedroom window at all the snow around. There I go again, wishing for the winter ! Very Happy!

re: Large G & T.

I know what you mean Helen, especially as I brought an electric heated duvet with me - such luxury. Very Happy I will lay in bed under my heated duvet watching the snow. Perhaps I should get a teasmaid as well or maybe just keep a bottle of rakia by the bed. Heating inside and out - Wink Wink

BTW are you, me and Sam the only ones having drinkies tonite??

Like the idea of the heated duvet and rakia - sounds to me like you are getting into the spirit of things ! I for one cant wait to be there full time

Anyone else joining us for a drink ?

Helen - are you thinking of living here? If so, where? Just going to pour myself a "little" drink - not that I need it to help me sleep. Very Happy

re: Large G & T.

I have a place in Stoikite, have had it for over 5 years now. Definately going to be moving there, just love the village, the people and the way of life - instantly fell for the place.

I really hope everything works out for you and you enjoy your time there and they finish more than the garage for the winter
Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Hi

Just back from visiting aunt with 'C' so could do with a chat Exclamation Exclamation

Helen - ouch Exclamation I broke 2 toes back in February and they are still bruised and have 2 black nails. At least you can wear open toed shoes, I couldn't get anything on back in the winter. Though with this rain it may have to be beach shoes Exclamation I hear today is the last of the rain for the rest of the week - we'll see.

Andie - electric duvet Question Question Never seen them but they sound great. Very Happy

Hot toddy sounds great ...

We drove down to Hvoina today to have lunch with Carole and John who are not looking forward to going back to the UK tomoz.

Helen, we will be almost neighbours as Stoikite is about a 30 min drive from here (Momchilovtsi) - but you most probably already know that. As the crow flies it would ...

Helen, we will be almost neighbours as Stoikite is about a 30 min drive from here (Momchilovtsi) - but you most probably already know that. As the crow flies it would take about 10-15 mins as we can see the Snezhanka Tower from the village. Smile

Time to top up the glass I think Wink
