Spent last week staying at the Moura hotel in Borovets. Was a little unsure what to expect but must say that the food was really quite good, the hotel was warm and comfortable, the happy hour was incredible value and the water was always piping hot.
The skiing conditions were good apart from Tuesday when we declined to get wet through but then enjoyed our snowboarding lesson even more.

The quality and quantity of the snow was brilliant and I would not hesitate to recommend the resort but I am not sure if beginners could cope with the run down from the top - maybe they all took the gondola down.
The prices were amazingly cheap and Sunny's (near to hotel Ela) always gave you a free shot to begin with - bargain!
The Bulgarians were very friendly and were not too pushy. Those standing outside eateries were happy if you waved and said "maybe later".
Anyone that has a holiday booked to Borovets, don't worry about the negative comments - you will have a great time in a very pretty place.
