We are in the process of looking for a snowboard/ski holiday, but rather than looking at France we thought we might look at Bulgaria. Hi,
We are in the process of looking for a snowboard/ski holiday, but rather than looking at France we thought we might look at Bulgaria. Now the only trouble is that we work as teachers - well 2 of us do so the main time that we would be able to make the holiday is the Easter Holiday, which starts on the 7th April.

I'm no authority on Bulgarian skiing conditions but I think you'll be pushing it for April... there are some ski report websites that give a history of what the weather was like in previous years.
Yes you really are pushing it with Bulgaria. you need to look at Bansko as that is the highset resort. Last year it was skiable in May, but that is not the norm. Pray for a long winter.
We have just come back from Borovets. Had great time and thinking of going back the 2nd week in March. Any Idea what the snow conditions are like then?
I'm going April 1st to Bansko! Let's keep our fingers crossed en hope there's snow enough....
Last year I was in Borovets in the first week of the Easter Holidays and it snowed that week (last week of March).
