Well that's a load of crap for a start.

Just got back from Borovets and the slopes were just ridiculous. In the middle of the pistes were sheet ice and down the sides (which are normally better) it was literally just blocks of ice from where the thaw had set in and it had then got colder again... With the winds closing the gondola (the other main lift) you are literally restricted to 2 runs in front of the Rila Hotel...
