Off to the rila on Sat with thomson, learn to board. Apparently you get 3x2hr lessons, does anyone know how these are spread over the week? Is that enough to get you started?
Its been 10 years since i was last in Borovets (stayed in the ela, as a skier) and cant wait to get back there! Will those reds down from the gondola be 'do-able' within a week?!?
5 Sleeps to go
we went with inghams and had the learn to board package, sun, mon, tues, were the days for the lessons, and yes for those that learn quick or are nutters it did work, my 28yr old son was on the black run by wed, jumping and allsorts (but he is a bit of a nutter) he could well have been doing this for years, the lessons seem to do the job, good luck and have fun............
we found that the lessons were sun, mon and Tues and this seemed good enough to get you going, keep your fingers crossed that you get Danny to teach you and if you do, say hi from his ski beginners 12 - 19th feb. You'll have a fab time and the rila was brill
My daughter & friend did the learn to board class for the 1st 3 days then paid the instructor an extra 80 levs each to carry on for the next 3 days so they did 6 days . It was worth it . She classed them as extreme snowboarders at the end of the week able to do red & black runs.
