Hi , there is a group of 9 of us (plus baby) going out to Borovets on 21st Jan for my Dads 60th, I've got loads of questions i'm hoping someone can help with?
Are there any bars/restaurants you can recommend for group with ages 28-61 ! - Are there any that would do a typical english birthday cake?
Also do you know what the Samokov like? I've read mixed reviews.
Last thing -what's the snow usually like around then?
Many Thanks Sarah
Sarah
Have stayed at the Samokov Hotel 6 times which should tell you something - not your typical western european 4* hotel but clean and warm which is all you really need on a skiing holiday. They don't have kettles in the room so you might want to take a travel one with you if you need to make up bottles for the baby. Some of the rooms also have fridges so yu might want to email the hotel and request a room that has one. I can also highly recommend the spa in the hotel, very reasonably ...

Bobby's Bar is about a 2 min walk from the hotel and could easily cater for a group of 9 - they had 30 for Xmas dinner and I mean fully english xmas dinner with all the trimmings they would also be able to provide a cake - you can either find them on facebook (just search bobbys bar borovets) or if you see a post on here from K&B click on the blue K&B in the author area and this will allow you to email Kas directly.
Snow- we went out at Xmas and the conditions were ok, they have had further snow since we came home and are due more snow this weekend - looking at the webcams the snow conditions are looking good.
We are back out again at the end of Feb so save some of the snow for us.
Boro has something for everyone young and young at heart, have a great time and let us know how you get on.

Sorry Sarah that should have read if you see a post on here from Kas&Bobby - Kas posts regular condition updates on the forum and is a mine of information for all things Boro.
