Lessons via Fiona

Hi All,
Has anyone everbooked ski lessons and ski hire via Fiona in Borovets from on here? Are the skis any good and are the instructors good english speaking? (No offence to Fiona, but must check!)

Borojo - as this is your first post on here I would ask you not to pre judge someones ability to supply a service.

Many people on here have chosen Fiona to arrange their ski requirements and I have not seen a single complaint.

The services she supplies are fully supported by BulgariaSki.

re: Lessons via Fiona

I had private lessons the first time I went skiing and thought it great.
The second time I went skiing I booked into the Samokov ski school with lots of others and found a different experience, finding new friends as I was always in a group, really much better for me.
It all depends what you want out of it all but group skiing with different people just made my holiday.

Yep, no problems with Fiona, we used her services last year and are doing so this year, we met Rachel (above post) and her family with the school used by Fiona had a ball, instructor could not have been better. Equipment great but i have invested in my own boots this year as i think i have the ski bug. I must also agree not seen any complaints regarding Fiona at all.

We used Fiona's services for ski rental, lessons and lift passes for the first time after finding her services on this forum (we have just returned from weeks skiing at Borovets);

For a family of four with full ski package, two children requiring lessons Fiona provided a complete package without the need for us to do anything. We met at the given time and place, Fiona took us to the ski depot, discussed our requirements with the ski technicians, within 30 minutes we were booted up with ...

Thanks Fiona.

Hi
I've just returned from a week in Borovets and used Fiona. She was great - very friendly and met us on time at an agreed place. The skis and boots were good quality and we had no probs whatsoever! Good price too!
Hope this helps,

Sarah

We (group of 5) were skiing over New Year in Borovets and booked our ski package through Fiona after finding her name in someone else’s hotel review. Fiona was there on time the first morning we met and ensured we were sorted with everything in the ski depot. We booked through Fiona rather than direct with a large ski school to have a single point of contact to sort things out if they went wrong as it was our first time skiing and were unsure of what to expect. We booked through Fiona rather than direct with a large ski school to have a single point of contact to sort things out if they went wrong as it was our first time skiing and were unsure of what to expect. The weeks skiing went without a hitch so we did not have any need to get in touch with her again after our first meeting, however I have no reason to doubt she would have done whatever possible to resolve any issues we may have had. Hope this helps.
