Lev everytime. If You are taking sterling to exchange make sure it is not ripped or defaced in ANY way. Only use the crown exchanges or the hotel exchange AND............... NEVER NEVER change cash with anyone on the street -- You WILL lose Your money.

Last 3 years took £20 notes, exchaged in resrt (Boro) April last year used ATM at Rila no probs, but bear in mind very quiet, sometimes rns out of cash!
