Lev to £ in Bansko

Does anyone know the current rate of exchange in town so I can compere to rate here please.

Dont know about Bansko but we got 216 in borovets on friday. Cant imagine it will be that different.

in borovets on sat morning i saw 2.20 & on way to airport through samokov i saw 2.22...... pays to shop around

Thanks for all the replies - Do the banks charge commission and does the same rate apply at ATM's and what are the charges for that? Sorry for all the questions but this is new for us and we are a largish group.

I know Bulgaria is not yet in the EU, but do they take euros, or only LEV at the resort.

Pauline - Bulgaria joined EU on 1st Jan 2007. Only paid in Lev at Borovets resort

banks dont charge comission, they are all down in the centre below the square, its not a big place just wonder around a bit, most of them are open till 6pm
