Bulgaria doesn't use Euro. Take sterling and change to leva in country.

You can buy Lev's thru RBS prior to visit at approx. 2.8 Lv to the pound. Exchange at resort has been approx. 2.5 for last 3 years. 50 Lv is roughly £20.

Pampers exchange was between 2.85 (local bank & Perelik)) and 2.65 in some hotels on 3/02/07

i was in borovets last week, go to the flora hotel, exchange is 2.96 levas to the pound in their bank, also they have a cash machine that will accept bank cards so you can withdraw if you need to. hope this helps dude.

Alaska supermarket 2.79, thats good if your in pamps not so good if your in Bansk or Boro, not worth the taxi fare and a long walk, could always ski I suppose, I'm waffleing ignore me, its the boredom of not skiing. Although I was skiing on the Chiltern hills yesterday, much to the amazement of the local dog walkers who took a photo, why they had a camera with them, a mystery to me. Doggers I ask you, Ah!
