At the 11.06.2014 I will start in Sofia to the Rila Mountains and the secound day gestern to Rila Monastery, third day to Melnik, later southern, again to the High north passing the Shipka Pass to the Danube River and the Black Sea, Balschik or Cape Kaliarkra;Varna and to make an end in Nessebar >

Hi Sune, sounds like a really good journey, all places we like. We went to Balchik last summer and were very impressed with the botanical gardens.If you are passing through Samokov and fancy a beer sitting in the sunshine in the center of town we would be more than happy to meet up. You could then walk to the Rila Monastery if you fancied something different, starting from Govadartsi just outside Samokov it is only an 8 hour walk.

Can't believe it's nearly 6 years ago when we first met at one of the forum meets!
When you do the Rila mountains, send me a message and we can meet at Target again (if you come to Samokov) or somewhere closer to where you will be. I am sure Suzanne & Chris will be up to meeting you again although we are all really scared of the rakia you keep bringing us!!

I will stay the first night in Plana and the next 2 days I cross to the south, one night near Rila, the second in Melnik. So may be you will use the chance to visit the wounderful Melnik?
I'm looking for a cheap accomodation for the 15. to the 16. in Pamporovo area. May be anyone have a idea.
I'm not completly sure, if I will visit Samokov on the way home in July, my problem is to carry my baggage by bike from Kostenetz to Samokov. All in all ...

Hey Samokovski,I will be in Samokov on the 5.th of july and looking if anyone will enjoy the Sofia Rocks on the 6.?
If not I will have two days of hiking and biking before I leave Bulgaria on the 8.
May be you have some old paper cartons, I have something to find to wrap my bike again.
See you all for one or may be two beer in Samokov
