Lift Closures.

Hi,We're off to Borovets at half term. As we've never been there before I'm a bit confused as to what lifts are open and which are shut.
Can someone please look at http://www.bulgariaski.com/borovets/borovetsskiruns.shtml and tell me which numbers are open and which numbers are shut.

Wondered if it was you!! Shame about the Karaoke - sure we'll manage to find you something suitable.
As far as I understand and remember from last year it is the 1 man chair lift (scary anyway!) that's shut, no.4 on this map. The other bits up the top (I'm not good enough for them!) are served by the 4 man chair lift by the looks!!

Thanks Ellie.Yes flight is due in to Sofia at 00:50! Still at least we'll be first in the queue for the planks and wellies!
Have you heard about Abi's passport? They realised on Saturday it ran out in January..........2003. Abi went to France using it last year!

Ellie is correct,the one man chair lift is not working this season. Don't worry about the karaoke though there's plenty to be found. We're on the same mad flight as you.......no singing demos please.Enjoy.

Thats right. 1 man is closed but all others are open. Gondola was closed due to the weather on 1 day. Snow conditions up there are perfect...lovely pistes and deep powder.You can pay for a cat tracked vehicle to take you to the top of the 1 man lift (10Levs I think it was) and the slopes are unspoilt.

I'll print off the words to American Pie. We should be able to get it right at least once during the three hour flight.What's the inflight entertainment like on Balkan Holidays Air? Now Karaoke sounds a better bet.

We cancelled our girls night out last week due to the snow!
At least they realised before arriving at Sofia. Last year we each had to stand on a line until it was our turn to have our passports checked - kids included
Instant impression was that of shock, but the lady was actually very pleasant and noticed that someone had queue jumped and sent her to the back again!!
