when i was there at xmas, they have changed the lift pass system,u no longer pay for a card, u just get issued with a disposal card. much quicker and no silly que
We've prebooked lift passes for 6 days. I think the disposable ones are issued for 1 day only as we bought those on our last day last year. They were a pain though, as you had to get them out and 'swipe' them every time - rather than just waving your sleeve in front of the sensor.

the one i had was for 6 days with no deposit. kept it in my wallet and the sensor picked it up.
previous times i had to pay the 6lev deposit but not this time
I think that its only the 6 days plus that are hands free and no deposit is required. Anything less than 6 days needs to be swiped. They do give you elastic if you request it so that you can wear it round your neck.
