Lift pass for 7 year old

My daughter is in kindergarten at Pamporovo, so I haven't booked her a ski pass or boots & skis. My son & I are in ski school.

Will she need a pass if I take her skiing after our lessons have finished? Also can she use the kindergarten's skis & boots?

I know that under 7's don't need a pass, but she is already 7 so does she need one & will I have to pay high resort prices?

re: Lift pass for 7 year old

yes she will need a lift pass, you may manage to get one a little cheaper if its only for the remainder of the day

hi jackie, im just back today from pamps with my 7 year old nephew. he was im kindergarden and they fit them with boots at the begginning of the week. he didnt need a ski pass to get onto all the lifts. you can use the skis and boots whenever you want for him. its down stairs when you come into the main area to get your skis. just when u come in the door. i was dissapointed with the kindergarden because i feel at the age of 7 it bored him. they only go out out for a short time each day with ...

re: Lift pass for 7 year old

I think I may have to get some private tuition then, because she is already having lessons on the dry slope, and can snow plough quite well on the main slope. She has just been cleared for open practice - without an instructor. She needs more than a beginners course.

Maybe she can tag along with one of the ski school groups for the older kids instead, but I think that 4 hours may be a bit much for her.

re: Lift pass for 7 year old

Hi very similar position. We are booked into ski school with our 8 yr old. However, our 7 yr old is booked into the Kindergarden at Boverets and they are on level 2 on the dry slopes. We hope to put our 7 yr old into ski lessons with our 8 yr old, so we will have to buy a ski lift pass out there. I hope they will let our youngest ski with our oldest as he will be bored if they don't do much skiing in the kindergarden. Any advise/forseen problems? regards.

re: Lift pass for 7 year old

Sorry for the daft question, but I'm confused. You say under 7's don't need a lift pass -- does that mean that the lift passes for children sold via this web-site (£49 for 6 days) are only for 7+ ? It's not mentioned anywhere that I could see Confused Just need reassurance...

Cheers,
Dani

re: Lift pass for 7 year old

Yes Dani, as far as I can tell if they are under 7 they don't need a pass. I'm confused about if they are 7 because they can't buy a lift pass in the UK, but it is not clear whether they need one when they get out there.

My suspicion is that strictly speaking they do, but they can often get away without one!
