Hi, we are due to arrive in Borovets on 4th March. My boyfriend and I have booked the full 6 day ski pack as we skied for the first time last year in Pamporovo. However the other couple we are travelling with haven't skied at all and so have booked the learn to ski pack. Hi Kelly,
From what I understand the the restricted pass will only keep them off runs that are not suitable for begginers, if your friends feel that they will pick up skiing quickly they may well be moved up a group so could need the upgraded pass, having been to Borovets many times I can say there are plenty of other runs to do the first time there this said we have one in our party of 14 that is a complete begginer and I have upgraded his pass as we all feel he will take to ...
Hi Kelly,
From what I understand the the restricted pass will only keep them off runs that are not suitable for begginers, if your friends feel that they will pick up skiing quickly they may well be moved up a group so could need the upgraded pass, having been to Borovets many times I can say there are plenty of other runs to do the first time there this said we have one in our party of 14 that is a complete begginer and I have upgraded his pass as we all feel he will take to skiing like a duck to water, incidently it didnt cost me anything to upgrade as I argued the toss that it wasnt stated in the book that I booked from and got the upgrade free, another way to look at it is in resort the upgrade is 76 levs thats about £35 so not the end of the world and if after a couple of days they wanted to upgrade the price may well be even cheaper. Hope this helps we out out the week before you so we will try and leave you some snow for you and if like me you fall in love with Borovets you will be back. ENJOY
