We go to the Lion Feb half term, the reviews are really pretty good, which is great, especially as we are a novice family. If all else fails and we do miserably at the skiing we shall have a lovely winter holiday anyway.Pam

Me and my boyfriend stayed here in january last year. We thought Borovets and this hotel was so good we are coming back in February. Even the lack of snow last year didn't hinder our fantastic holiday in anyway!
The hotel really is lovely, the staff are fab and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are really nice - there's good sized tub to have a soak in after a days ski-ing. The food aint great but its better than some of the restaurants in the centre! Just stick to ...

The hotel really is lovely, the staff are fab and the rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms are really nice - there's good sized tub to have a soak in after a days ski-ing. The food aint great but its better than some of the restaurants in the centre! Just stick to recomendations and you should be fine with eating out! Breckfast in the hotel is quite nice actually, there was a selection of cereals, pastries, toast, jams and also hot meats - the french toast was lovely!
Compared to the other hotels in Borovets this definately looked to be one of the best. Its a little out from the centre but there is a free shuttle bus that runs every 20 mins to the centre from the hotel.
Also this hotel has been rated number 1 out of 14 hotels in Borovets on Tripadvisor:
