Lion Hotel

Hi,

We are due to fly out to Borovets on 26th Feb and are staying at the Lion Hotel. Does anyone have any views / experince of the Lion?

If so, can you share with us so we know what to expect.

only heard good reports about that hotel, not stopped there meself but know few people who have and all good reports. On the down side its a bit out of resort so taxi job sorry cant help you furthur

Good - stayed there twice, no hesitation in recommending. Food was okay, rooms nice, pool great - if any downside it's just so ridiculously warm in the hotel, stifling at times, always needed a window open in our room.

Minibus to and from the gondola every 15/20 minutes or so from about 9am until 6pm, I think. Usually taxis outside if you want to get into the resort centre at night. Good atmosphere in the bar if you don't fancy venturing out.
