Local Lift passes.

Hi

Has anyone got any information on the cheapest way to buy lift passes for Borovets?

We are going indipendently and wondered if there was a good local source?

There will be changes this year in all the resorts. There has been a law passed the last few days making it illegal to have two tier pricing. I would guess that pre-booked with a tour operator will still be cheaper, but the difference should be much smaller compared to last year.

Lift pass prices are really going to hurt Bulgarians and residents in Bulgaria this year. The law states that there should not be a two tier pricing system so Bulgarian prices have Gone up to 50 Leva a day and Tourist prices will be the same.
Having now been resident and experienced the cheapness of the two tiered sytem, to say I'm rather peeved is an understatement....
