Hi Daz
We fly out saturday from Bristol 15.55. how about you ?you replyed to our thred has any one else been bumped by crystal. They have offerd a crap room at the hotel Perelik for the friday night and £20 compo. not good.
Eatting Peters bar half way up/down the hill is good hes a great bloke, you can get some tasty Bulgarian food as well as pizza and chips if you like and at a fair price (thats where well be) i would give the ones the ski school use a miss long wait for food and more expensive (the ski school gets a kick back from the resturant for takeing them there) the other news is that i think the white heart as closed but there are a few nice Mehans around serving local dishies and spit roast meat and lashings of beer and wine. i am sure Pamps Pete will put you right when he reads this.
Anyway Daz we will guide you if you meet up with us anytime Steve & Phil staying at the orlovets (well for 6 nights anyway) first beers on us
Or catch up with us at the reps welcome meeting we will be some of the people giveing the reps some shit & i am sure there will a long Q.
Well - my personal choices are pretty well known now but here they are again.
Having tried just about everywhere on the slopes for food at some time or other, I do not know anywhere better than Peters Bar at the upper mid station. Fabulous food, wide choice, and substantially cheaper than most other places. The White Hart is closed now so you won't be eating there this year. For an after ski drink there are 2 recommendations I would make. The White Dog which is owned by Pete Todorov from ...

The White Dog which is owned by Pete Todorov from Interski always has a good atmosphere and is very friendly, good place for an after-ski beer. You will find this at the entrance to Malina 2. Just accross the road from there you will find the Markony bar. Roaring log fire and the best food in the resort. Again a great place for apreski and a warm up.
Later in the evening I would suggest Daks Bar from 11pm onwards for good entertainment and a fun night out. This can be found to the left hand side of the Snezhanka hotel just behind the Perelik.
OK thats a good start.
many people are recomending Peter Bar so i just hope I can find it. Daks bar I know well from last year but the Markony is a new recomend to me. Is it in the resort itself?
Thanks Daz
No - The Markony is located at Malina 2 on the right hand side as you arrive and is at the top of the small slope. If you know where the Snowshack was the Markony is above it.
