Just reading the previous posts about accidents, is it easy to get yourself lost of mixed up on the wrong slopes, not been before going to Bansko in the morning.
Just a bit concered taking 2 small children.
Not been to Bansko before but just got back from our second year in Pamporovo.
The instructors are fantastic, especially with children and will not make them do more than they are capable of or feel able to. They will do lots on very gentle nursery slopes before they are allowed anywhere near a chair lift to take them up the mountain. Having been in classes with kids, by day 3 they'll be full of confidence and wizzing past the grown ups!

They can take you down on the chairlifts as well as up - they won't like it because they have to stop the machine to let you on but you've paid your money so just tell them you want to go down. Certainly recommend the paragliding option.
i was in bansko last year with my pal and his 2 girls (7 and 9), they were going up the chair lifts by themselves on the third day! by the 5 day, i couldnt keep up with them!!!
of there again on sunday, fingers crossed for some good snow.
One word of caution however! A number of runs on the piste map given to you are shown as blue on the map and in the margin its shown as a red. My girlfriend found this out to her horror and nearly hurt herself
Also some of the blue runs can only be accessed by a red, so take care!
Just got back from Bansko two days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, needs more snow though as very dangerous in places..
