Luggage 20kg - can you mix?

Luggage 20kg - can you mix?

Going with Inghams, states 20kg per person. Does anyone know, say if there are 2 of you going, you can have 1 case, weighing 28kg or due to H&S, each case must not weigh more than 20kg. Many thanks. Yvette

Thank you. 23kg per case. I thought this might be the case, saw somewhere on H&S grounds. Do you know what happens if you turn up with a case weighing more?

Depends you may get charged per kilo over or sometimes get away with it. We were 2kgs over at xmas no charge.

some times they ask you to repack, remember health and safety, the people downstairs have to lift it and hundreds of others Crying Booze Booze Very Happy

It aint 23kgs it is either 30 or 32 I forget wich one!!! I know it is at least 30kg because most chater airlines offer a larger baggage allowance if you pay more to go in premium economy.

Baggage handlers can lift 23kgs by themselves otherwise classed as heavy load therefore 2 baggage handlers required

No item must weigh more that 32kg. If two people are going total allowance is 40kg in however many cases. As long as no one item is heavier than 32kg.

they will normally charge you and it is £6 per kilo over your limit (normally 20KG). It can be very expensive as we just found out.
