MARCH IN BULGARIA

I am looking at going to borovets in mid march, I have been to boro the past two years in January and It has been very good snow wise. Does any one know what the snow is like in March from experience?

I first went to Borovets March 15th 2003 - weather was fantastic - better late in the season than early. It was starting to warm up a bit in the afternoons leading to the bottom of the slopes by the Rila being a but slushy, but having now been in March to Borovets and January to Pamps, definitely prefer Borovets in March.

Last year the snow whas perfect in march!

went to pamps around the 5th March this year and it was fairly warm, lots of grass patches about. Only snowed Wed and Thurs when I was out there for a week.

March can be a bit of a lottery...

bansko in feburary. best of the 3 and also the best time to go!

I went to Bansko in April. This was in the early 90's and I remember it had great skiing conditions. Lots of snow.
