can anyone who has stayed at the monastery apartments please let me know if we have to put a deposit down on the room on arrival and if so, how mcuh it is???

We did not have to put down a deposit. Nothing to put down for - depends who you go with I guess, we went Balkan Holidays. Apartments are large and clean as new but no facilities open yet, no reception except small window. See my posting today. It is a 10-15 min walk to gondola, if you have ski package booked you can leave equipment there, if you take own you can pay 25 levs for a week to have skis and boots looked after at gondola and just 15 a week for boots...
