MORE questions!! (PP!!!)

Hello again peeps.

Understand that the Pound to Lev exchange rate doesnt regulate much over here, and was wondering whether its better to take UK cash out there and change in Borovets.

Also, just ordered some snowblades (cheers for website Ellie) and wanted to know if they are easy and quick to adjust to different boot sizes (on the spot pref), as im sure im gonna have to share the joy (not out of choice!!)

Great to see Borovets is getting a damn good covering of white niceness. ...

re: MORE questions!! (PP!!!)

Take with English pound notes, not Scottish - not marked or creased too much. You don't need to take too much as when you get to Borovets, take the money out of the hole in the wall machine by the gondola. That way you get the bank rate, which is much better, and if you bank with Nationwide, you don't even get charged for the pleasure.

e.g. Exchange rate = 2.7 lev to £1
Bank rate = 2.85 lev to £1

re: MORE questions!! (PP!!!)

DONT USE EXCHANGE BOOTHS.
THEY GIVE YOU A HIGHER RATE ON THE OUTSIDE BOARD AND WHEN THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY IN THIER HANDS THEY WILL GIVE YOU THE LOWER RATE OFFERED ON A MUCH SMALLER BOARD INSIDE WHICH IS LOWER.DONT ARGUE AS THERE WILL BE A COUPLE OF UGLIES AROUND.
I TELL YOU THIS FROM EXPERIENCE AND IT REALLY DID P**S ME OFF.
FOLLOW THE ADVICE AND YOU WONT GET BURNT AND YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT TIME . Wink

re: MORE questions!! (PP!!!)

clean uncreased notes
must be english and no marks at all - just ask your bank for new fresh notes and they shouldnt mind!

youll get the best exchange rate with sterling

re: MORE questions!! (PP!!!)

Yes, there is a hole in the wall machine in the reception of the Mourgavets - used it this year.

Great to hear you found the ski wear site useful (I thought you might!) and have taken the plunge and bought some blades. I'm sorry but I can't help you further as I don't even really know what they are! just saw them advertised!!

Have fun
