Im not going to fill this board with mtb talk simply because there is little interest... but...
Whilst at an downhill event, the first UCI 1 classed event ever held in Bulgaria (Google it) i spoke with two mtb park managers whose allegience has moved to Pamporovo/Chepelare with a view to building a park there. They explained that there is big support from operators and owners alike, that money has been made available and work will start next week...

Now, for us this is exciting news, the summer offering a far wider opportunity for visitors to enjoy all aspects of Bulgaria as well as mtb, but this should also bring a smile to people involved in Pamps/Chepelare...
For those of little faith, Google Leogang in Austria, winter numbers down around 14%, summer numbers up 34%
Spoke also with Greeks and Romanians competing at the event, now no bike parks with uplift facilities in either of these countries, Pamps proximity to both countries a major advantage

Hooks are now being put onto one of the 4man chairs back to top. These will carry the bikes as in Borovets

Also been told hoping to open 16th June. I will have more info in next couple of days wating for them to send me details. It does coincide with Borovets Park opening so could be wrong time to do it especially with not alot of promo out there as yet for it. Danny and Ema who are managing and building the park set up Borovets ...
