Macro in Plovdiv

Can anyone help with directions to the big hypermarket (think it is Macro or similar) outside Plovdiv. We visited it last year when travelling from Sofia but are flying into Plovdiv airport + cant remember where it is from there (suspect we need to turn right onto the Sofia road + it will be on our right but cant remember how far)Cheers Joff

No problem - the link has disappeared now as I corrected your spelling of Plovdiv and that lost the link. Hope you got it OK before it went.Pete

Hi Joff, as you come out of the Plovdiv Airport road, turn to your right and carry on straight until you get to Big Mac. This is immediately after Baumax on your right and faces you at the junction. Turn right and follow the road until you see Metro on your left across the other side of the dual carriageway.
Alternatively, there is a new supermarket in Assenovgrad called Sani. You pass this as you come into Assenovgrad as it is just a couple of blocks before the turning up the mountain ...
