WOW WOW WOW !!!Shame they didn't have it 2 years ago when i wasn't good enough to ski to the bottom, but what a save on the legs if it's foggy etc!
That climb was a killer!

Does anyone know if you have to pay extra or if it's part of the lift pass system?

Skibum; are you being sarcastic or are you jealous?I've got an apartment in Boro and i don't care if prices go up or down, i bought it because i love the place and the people, winter or summer, snow or grass.
I don't think i'm stuffed at all! I've got a free holiday whenever i want one and i'm looking forward to both my skiing trips this year!
(and i think the snow looks good - maybe i'm just uneducated??)

It's my understanding that it's a new "rolling road" that they've put in so you can get back to the Gondola at the top, rather than having to hike up the hill!!Have a look at the piccies!! (see first post).
THis is my 4th time back to Boro, and Feb will be my 5th! I LOVE IT!!!

The magic carpet is part of the lift system and is covered by your lift pass. There is another one next to ice angels and is part of the new nursery area for the little ones.re: Magic carpet in borovets
Hi Just got back, the magic carpet always stopped when i was on it and it was a killer walking up the hill after a days skiing..............it is easier and quicker to walk up the way you come down.You do not have to pay for the magic carpet, it is included in your lift pass.
